Back in the 80s, skateboarding was exploding. The skateparks, the music, the attitude and those iconic striped socks became part of a generation that did things its own way.

Those socks weren't just another piece of clothing. They became a symbol of a scene built around freedom, creativity and self expression.

That's where our story begins.

THIS IS WHERE AMERICAN SOCKS WAS BORN

Inspired by the classics of the 80s skate scene, American Socks was born with a simple idea: create the socks we wanted to wear.

What started with a single product became a brand inspired by skateboarding, music, action sports and alternative culture.

The striped sock is still at the heart of everything we do.

DESIGNED BY PEOPLE

We don't use AI to create our collections. Every graphic, illustration and collection is developed by the American Socks crew together with artists and creatives who share our vision and our roots.

From the first sketch to the final product, we stay close to every step of the process to make sure every piece feels authentic, looks right and is built to last.

SUSTAINABILITY

Our goal since day one has been simple: creating high-quality, killer apparel while staying 100% responsible for the environment and society. From the first sketch to the final stitch, we make sure every single stage of production respects the habitat we all share.

Hell yeah! Every single product we drop is 100% VEGAN. We don't mess around with this: everything is crafted under strict thoroughness using only certified eco-friendly cotton and premium sustainable dyes. Good for your style, great for the planet.

Details matter, and we care just as much about the journey as the destination. That’s why we completely ditched standard plastic shipping bags. We use recycled paper mailers for all our shipments and eco-paper for our packaging to keep things clean and green.

We’re fully committed to balancing the scales. We actively work to compensate for the $CO_2$ emissions released during our process, and we are constantly experimenting with new methods and materials. Our mission is clear: leave single-use plastic in the past and keep moving forward.
